The publication "Okaleczony świat. Historie fotografii Europy Środkowej 1838-2018" was published at the end of 2019 by the Universitas publishing house. The author tells the story of photography from a new, Central European perspective, and at the same time in an unconventional way, using more than 140 photos, analyzes the history of Europe. The photos - both very well-known and less known - are selected so that the reader sees and feels the uniqueness of the world, its contrasts. So we have beauty, but also cruelty, and everyday life is often unusual and poetic.
