Cyanotype Workshop with Kryńska
12.10.2024, 10:00-15:00
Fotografistka Foundation, Pomorska 68A/1, 85-051 Bydgoszcz
Discover the unique method of creating artwork using the 19th-century cyanotype technique. Enhance your creative expression skills by learning the entire process—from preparation, exposure, and development of the prints to their finishing touches. At the end of the workshop, you'll take your creations home. Bring only your curiosity and openness to new experiences; we provide everything else. Experiment with different types of paper and negatives (your own or those provided during the workshop). Create photograms and collages, developing your own style while meeting other photography enthusiasts.
Cyanotype is a photographic process invented by John Herschel in 1842. Two chemicals mixed together become light-sensitive, and using UV light, a blue hand-crafted print is produced.
Who is it for?
This workshop, limited to a maximum of 10 participants, is open to all photography enthusiasts, whether experienced or beginners. This is a camera-less technique, so no camera is required.
