Albert Kahn born on March 3, 1860. Under the name Archive of the Planet, he gathered an important iconographic collection, which includes autochromes (color photographs taken on a glass plate) and black and white films. This is the most important collection of autochromes in the world, located in the Museum of Albert Kahn in Boulogne-Billancourt.
