Do you have a collection of old photographs, such as family photos, and want to organize them? Learn about the most common threats to the longevity of photographic collections and ways to prevent them.
In this workshop, you will discover what preventive conservation is and how to safely handle old photographs. You will also learn about the role of photographic collections in social archives and perhaps get inspired to start new projects!
Marta Przybyło – art historian, book designer, curator, and photographer. From 2009 to 2022, she was associated with the Archeologia Fotografii Foundation, where she worked on publications, archival work, curatorial projects, and education. She currently works at the Center for Social Archiving in the Social Archives Support Department. In her spare time, she creates zines and exhibitions with the artistic collective Syreny i Glonojady.
