We will talk with the authors about their book "Zawód: Fotografistka". The book tells the story of Bydgoszcz pioneers of professional photography. Photographers are emancipants, professionally active women, photography enthusiasts and owners of their own interests. They came from various parts of Poland, Bydgoszcz chose Six Women as their Promised Land - six colorful stories, depicted in a photographic atelier and in private life. Bold professional choices, love stories, joys and tragedies. In the background the interwar period, a dynamic time of political and social changes.

Katarzyna Gębarowska – a lover of old photos, photography history researcher, curator of photo exhibitions, book publisher, photographer. PhD student at IS PAN, scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Mayor of the City of Bydgoszcz. The owner of Galeria Farbiarnia in Bydgoszcz. Since 2015, director of the Vintage Photo Festival – International Festival of Analog Photography Lovers. Co-author of the book "Kobiety Fotonu".
