The film is dedicated to the extensive work of Prof. Grzegorz Przyborek, inspired by a retrospective exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art of the District Museum in Bydgoszcz. During a visit to Arles, Andrzej P. Florkowski attempts to trace the sources of a significant transformation in Przyborek’s artistic journey, which began in this unique place during his stay at the École nationale supérieure de la photographie in 1989/90. This debut by Florkowski will take the form of a blend between documentary and film essay, allowing space for analysis and contemplation of photographic imagery and Targanescu's music.
After the screening, there will be a meeting with Grzegorz Przyborek and the film's creator Andrzej P. Florkowski (screenplay, direction, cinematography). The discussion will be led by Marek Noniewicz – a photographer and curator.
