The Prologue will take place for the first time at Vintage Photo. On Thursday (October 10), at noon, a wall by SEPC will be unveiled on the wall of the building at Galeria Farbiarnia, 68 Pomorska Street. - An artist from Columbia, from Monday, will work on the mural of Jadwiga Szopieraj, one of the pioneers of photography in Bydgoszcz - says the owner of Farbiarnia and director of the Vintage Photo Festival Katarzyna Gębarowska. The place of creation of the mural is also not accidental. The wall on which it is located is the back of the building at ul. Świętojańska, a place where before the war Szopieraj ran her photo shop. The work was created by Sebastian Jimenez, a Colombian artist signing his work with the nickname SEPC. As Katarzyna Gębarowska, director of the Vintage Photo festival admits, the idea of creating a mural was spontaneous. - When preparing the festival program, I try to be up to date. So I read a lot of art bulletins. That's where I came across this idea and decided to write to Sebastian, who wrote back quickly. This is how cooperation began, which resulted in this beautiful mural - he says. (Wyborcza)
